YEAH Membership
YEAH is run by five volunteer couples who are nominated and voted for one--two year terms by our members. These five couples form our YEAH Steering Committee. They meet monthly in order to oversee our clubs and committees which are directed by volunteer parent advisors. They also help make sure that volunteers keep up a membership directory and email loop; communication in the group, and an account for the financial needs of the group. Our group is dependent on each member family to organize and create opportunities to share support and education with our children, rather than being dependent on a Steering Committee to plan and carry out activiites and events. Members are primarily living in the York County area, with the exception of a few Chester and Lancaster County families.
